Blogger still sucks! Yes, more so than ever. The newer blogs that have a drop-down menu to allow me to choose an account to use never work at all. I sincerely hope that people move away from this atrocious excuse for a blogging system and use a real one, one with good features, one that you can control, one that doesn't shunt out commenters, etc.

OMFG. Blogger made it alongside WordPress and Movable Type in Webware's Publishing section. This is incredible, as Blogger sucks. Not only does it have limited functionality for the blogger, but it's incredibly frustrating for the commenter: endless CAPTCHAs, lost comments, comments that don't send (only giving you a blank screen), etc. I'd recommend doing yourself a favor and using a real blogging platform.

Now, if I could only figure out how to put a title on this post. LOL, Blogger sucks.

More Blogger suckiness:

  • Sometimes I comment on a blog and all I get is a blank screen. I have to push Reload a few times (and push that I do want to resubmit data) before it actually gets sent. And yes, it's only posted once.

  • Sometimes I comment only after realizing that I'm not logged in. So, I enter my user name and password and when the page loads, my comment is gone... into oblivion. I guess I just need to remember to make sure I'm logged in before I start writing. Anyway, this is a lesson for the kids.

Not much to say. I created an account, because many blogs don't allow anonymous posting, and none keep track of who you are. But Blogger does suck pretty bad. Let's see:
* No trackbacks
* No Pingbacks
* Poor permalinks
* No view of the original message
* CAPTCHAs: the most annoying yet inaffective anti-spam system
* Maybe I'll add more if I think of anything
